Leonardo da VinciDa Vinci was born April 15, 1452, and died May 2, 1519. He would wear garden pink to make his complexion look fresher. Leonardo never attended public school. In the mid-1460s the family colonized in Florence, where Leonardo was given the best education that Florence, the intellectual and artistic center of Italy, could offer.
